The Bizarre Future of Genetic Engineering for the Masses

DAN

Over the past five years we’ve seen technologies like 3D printing go from making plastic cubes, to making plastic firearms. It’s a huge game changer that allows the individual to make tools that once required a factory full of workers to build. It has essentially lowered the barrier to entry for the manufacturing industry, and as this technology progresses, it could fundamentally change the world we live in.

But does 3D printing stand alone in this regard? Are there other emerging technologies that might democratize fields beyond manufacturing, such as medicine or energy production? Surely, we could benefit from devices that allow the everyman to diagnose their own ailments, or cheaply produce all their energy needs. But what about genetic engineering? What if everyone could access the tools required to modify DNA, and do so in the comfort of their own home?

Could this device help people in California.THIS IMPRESSIVE TOWER CREATES WATER FROM THE AIR!

warkawater1

There are a flurry of amazing inventions coming into the fold lately, hoverbikes being among one of them.. but today I want to tell you about this really cool device that is making an impact in etheopia, and hopefully will soon make its way overseas to North America and the rest of the world.

The device is called Warka Water – and it has the capacity to generate up to 25 Gallons of water PER DAY simply by sitting in the hot heat of the desert. Now THAT is impressive, especially considering the whole scare of an impending drought that is currently upon us.

warkawater4

The magic of Warka Water however is not just that it generates the water, but HOW it generates the water. This device ultimately harnesses a singularity to pull water from the air through condensation, creating clean and drinkable water for those all around.

I’m not even kidding. It uses a singularity. In order to describe this, let me show you a quick video about what i’m talking about.

In the future, we can imagine making use of much more powerful singularities to do all kinds of things, such as levitation or even teleportation – but in the mean-time, this is a perfect example of what i’m talking about.

warkawater2Essentially, the warka-water device creates a means for the water-vapor in the air to move through a transition point (a singularity) and change density. The vapor does a 90 degree turn and becomes more dense, solidifying itself into a more physically tangible drop of water.

This happens around the device at a constant rate, so hundreds of thousands of drops of water are transmuted from the air and are then pulled down by gravity and collected in a basin at the bottom, ready for consumption or use in whatever way you desire.

warkawater3

The singularity is essentially created at the point of transition between vapor and water – where when all of the ingredients are just right, water simply manifests as if by magic. Of course, with the scientific data we know exactly where its coming from, but that’s just part of the magic! The fact that we can materialize water from the ether is one of the first steps of creating using the universe around us.

It is an example and a simple representation of what we will be able to do in the future by generating energy from the ether as well.

It’s just a matter of time ;)

UK medical police state, truth about CDC scientific fraud Ebola exploding and more

Strange things are happening in our world, and things seem to be getting more bizarre by the day. Here are six important stories unfolding right now that you need to be aware of.

(Original sources cited as appropriate.)

Ebola mutating and exploding; may reach 100,000 infections this year

From SHTFplan.com:

Vespignani is not the only one trying to predict how the unprecedented outbreak will progress. Last week, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated that the number of cases could ultimately exceed 20,000. And scientists across the world are scrambling to create computer models that accurately describe the spread of the deadly virus.

“If the epidemic in Liberia were to continue in this way until the 1st of December, the cumulative number of cases would exceed 100,000,” predicts Althaus.

Medical police state in the UK unfolds as parents arrested for seeking advanced brain tumor treatment for son

The medical police state is alive and well in the UK, where parents have now been arrested for removing their child from a UK hospital and seeking more advanced medical treatments.

From the Associated Press

Brett and Naghemeh King signaled Monday they would fight extradition, defying doctors and the legal system as a British court considers a ruling on forcing the family to come home… The Kings are seeking a new type of proton beam radiation therapy that typically costs at least $33,000… Ethicists say the case is unprecedented, and has raised questions of how much power authorities should have in interfering with the will of parents in questions of life and death.

Japan urging citizens to stockpile toilet paper in preparation for next catastrophe

A massive toilet paper lobby consisting of Japan’s top toilet paper manufacturers has managed to convince the government to call for widespread toilet paper stockpiling. Apparently, toilet paper is now being promoted as far more important than food, medicine or even potassium iodide pills:

From The Associated Press

The government and paper companies kicked off a “Let’s stockpile toilet paper!” campaign to mark Disaster Prevention Day, warning of a possible crisis because nearly half of the supply comes from one of Japan’s most earthquake-prone areas. …A family of four should be able to survive for a month on a six-roll pack, priced at 460 yen ($4.40) and with a five-year expiration date, said Satoshi Kurosaki, chairman of the Japan Household Paper Industry Association.

What is relevant is this man and his team omitted data from the 2004 study CDC published in the journal Pediatrics that clearly showed a 340% increase in autism risk with MMR shots in little African American children. What were the risks to the rest of the kids and what else has that man and his colleagues defrauded the public ABOUT? This is the same guy who went on to coauthor a study on the safety of THIMEROSAL!

Can officials like Dr. Colleen Boyle, a co-author on this bunk study and director of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) at the CDC, be trusted when she tells Congress in sworn testimony that there is no connection between vaccines and autism?

Genetic modification of food and humanity is an “unfolding disaster”

From The Commonsense Show

More research and studies are published daily proving the extreme and detrimental health affects these organisms have on humanity with the long term ramifications still unrealized, yet their proliferation continues and accelerates… Scientist from across the planet are now sounding the alarm concerning the infiltration of GMOs into the wild, with some saying we are quickly approaching the point of no return were the damage will be irreversible.

Bill Gates pumping money into Cornell university to “buy” more GMO shills in academia

I’m really liking the news and editorials I’m seeing on TheLibertyBeacon.com, an up-and-coming truth media site.

From The Liberty Beacon

Now, in an effort to “depolarize” the GMO debate, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is making a multi-million dollar donation to one of America’s most prominent universities. The program, made possible through the Gates Foundation’s $5.6 million grant, reportedly seeks to help inform decision-makers an consumers through an online information hub as well as training programs, with the goal of educating on “how (agricultural technology, presumably GMOs) works,” as well as the “potential impacts” of agricultural technology.

There’s nothing quite like another multi-million-dollar grant to dictate the messages of academia, eh? This is also how quite a few “alternative” media organizations have sold out to GMOs. Once they receive grant money from Bill & Melinda Gates, they suddenly start spouting pro-GMO propaganda

The Ebola of 2009: Swine Flu

The Ebola of 2009: Swine Flu

By Jon Rappoport

August 9, 2014

www.nomorefakenews.com

Every new “pandemic” is the big one.

“This isn’t like the last one, oh no. This one is really going to spread out across the globe and kill millions and millions of people.”

Ebola. MERS. Swine Flu. Bird Flu. Smallpox. SARS. West Nile.

We’re still here.

Do you think you can rely on government reports about diseases?

Can you trust them when they say there are 10,000 cases of disease X?

The mainstream press accepts the reports without blinking an eye. Accurate? Of course.

And the public? If the information weren’t accurate, the public would be…dupes, fools.

For example, in the case of Ebola, the people wouldn’t know who to believe. Up the creek without a paddle.

So let me recount an instance, in the fall of 2009, when a scandal broke, and US Centers for Disease Control executives were, behind closed doors, screaming bloody murder.

A mainstream reporter had just planted a dagger in the guts of a billion-dollar campaign to terrify the public about Swine Flu.her name is Sharyl Attkisson, and at the time she worked for CBS News. She was their ace investigative reporter.

Recently, she and CBS parted ways. She wasn’t getting air time. Her stories about Benghazi and Fast&Furious were quite controversial. But the biggest story she ever covered, in terms of potential impact, was the Centers for Disease Control Swine Flu debacle.

Until her bosses shut the story down. Until CBS decided it didn’t want to take things further and create a scandal that would have toppled pillars of the US medical system.

Remember Swine Flu? The dreaded H1N1 virus? It was the “Ebola” of 2009. The whole world was going to be infected. The World Health Organization declared it a “level-6 pandemic,” their most dangerous category. The US Centers for Disease Control was turning out press releases like hot cakes, churning up fear, promoting the Swine Flu vaccine.

The CDC had one very, very important job: letting the press know, up to the minute, how many cases of Swine Flu there were in the US. That was their only real job. If they couldn’t get that one right, they had no reason to exist.

How did the CDC decide how many cases of Swine Flu existed? They took reports from health agencies in the 50 states and they added them up.Not exactly rocket science. You could say any idiot could perform that task.

Well, along came Sharyl Attkisson, and she exploded a bombshell:”If you’ve been diagnosed ‘probable’ or ‘presumed’ 2009 H1N1 or ‘swine flu’ in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn’t have H1N1 [Swine] flu. In fact, you probably didn’t have flu at all. “That’s according to state-by-state test results obtained in a three-month-long CBS News investigation.

“In late July, the CDC abruptly advised states to stop testing for H1N1 [Swine] flu, and stopped counting individual cases. The rationale given for the CDC guidance to forego testing and tracking individual cases was: why waste resources testing for H1N1 flu when the government has already confirmed there’s an epidemic?

“…we [CBS News] asked all 50 states for their statistics on state lab-confirmed H1N1 [Swine Flu cases] prior to the halt of individual testing and counting in July. The results reveal a pattern that surprised a number of health care professionals we consulted. The vast majority of cases were negative for H1N1 as well as seasonal flu, despite the fact that many states were specifically testing patients deemed to be most likely to have H1N1 flu, based on symptoms and risk factors, such as travel to Mexico.” (cbsnews.com, October 21, 2009, “Swine Flu Cases Overestimated?”)

The CDC exposure was titanic, even if many readers didn’t get the point:The CDC had stopped counting the number of Swine Flu cases in America, by blithely assuming there was an epidemic; and therefore, its job was done.

But that was a naked lie. The CDC had actually stopped counting cases because the tests of patients who most likely had Swine Flu didn’t have Swine Flu at all, and most of them didn’t have any kind of flu. In other words, the whole Swine Flu “epidemic” was a bust. A dud.

This was apparent from Attkisson’s article. The CDC was lying through its teeth.

And the staggering capper on this tale? Roughly three weeks after Attkisson’s Swine Flu revelations appeared in print, the CDC, obviously in great distress over the exposure, decided to double down. The best lie to tell would be a huge lie.

Twenty-one questions about Ebola: government propaganda, medical corruption and bioweapons experiments Learn more:

(NaturalNews) Something’s fishy about the official stories we’re being told on Ebola. Things don’t add up, which is why I’m posing these twenty-one important questions we should all be considering:

#1) How can U.S. health authorities claim there is zero risk from Ebola patients being treated in U.S. hospitals when those same hospitals can’t control superbug infections? “Many hospitals are poorly prepared to contain any pathogen. That’s why at least 75,000 people a year die from hospital infections. If hospitals can’t stop common infections like MRSA, C. diff and VRE, they can’t handle Ebola.” – Fox News (1)

#2) Why should we trust the CDC’s handling of Ebola when the agency can’t even keep track of its anthrax, avian flu and smallpox samples?

#3) Why were Ebola victims transported to cities in the USA when they could be given state-of-the-art medical care overseas? “Now, they are bringing in highly infectious patients into this nation that is Ebola-free. In doing so, they are violating the primary rule of contagion: isolation.” – Radio host Michael Savage (2)

#4) Why is the company working on Ebola vaccines — Tekmira — receiving money from Monsanto and considers Monsanto to be one of its important business partners? (3)

#5) If Ebola is “not a threat” to U.S. citizens as government authorities keep claiming, then why did the U.S. Department of Defense spend $140 million on an Ebola-related contract with the Tekmira company?

#6) If Ebola is not a threat to the U.S., then why did the Department of Defense deploy Ebola detection equipment to all 50 states? (4)

Ebola – What You’re Not Being Told-its an airbourne Virus

There is something very, very important that the corporate media and public health officials are not telling you regarding the Ebola outbreak in west Africa.

The information I’m about to present here is frightening. There’s really no way around that. However, I request that you do your very best to maintain a calm state of mind.

Right now in West Africa the worst Ebola outbreak in history is in full swing and is jumping borders at an alarming rate. Already it has spread to four countries, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and now Nigeria. This latest jump into Nigeria is particularly serious since the infected individual carried the virus by plane to Lagos Nigeria, a city with a population of over 21 million. Doctors without borders has referred to the outbreak as “out of control”.

To make matters worse, there is something very, very important that the corporate media and public health officials are not telling you regarding this crisis.

You’ll notice if you read virtually any mainstream article on the topic that they make a point of insisting that Ebola is only transferred by physical contact with bodily fluids. This is not true, at all.

study conducted in 2012 showed that Ebola was able to travel between pigs and monkeys that were in separate cages and were never placed in direct contact.

Though the method of transmission in the study was not officially determined, one of the scientists involved, Dr. Gary Kobinger, from the National Microbiology Laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Canada, told BBC News that he believed that the infection was spread through large droplets that were suspended in the air.

“What we suspect is happening is large droplets; they can stay in the air, but not long; they don’t go far,” he explained. “But they can be absorbed in the airway, and this is how the infection starts, and this is what we think, because we saw a lot of evidence in the lungs of the non-human primates that the virus got in that way.”

Translation: Ebola IS an airborne virus.

UPDATE: Someone pointed out that in medical terms, if the virus is transferred through tiny droplets in the air this would technically not be called an “airborne virus”. Airborne, in medical terms would mean that the virus has the ability to stay alive without a liquid carrier. On one hand this is a question of semantics, and the point is well taken, but keep in mind that the study did not officially determine how the virus traveled through the air, it merely established that it does travel through the air. Doctor Kobinger’s hypothesis regarding droplets of liquid is just that, a hypothesis. For the average person however what needs to be understood is very simple: if you are in a room with someone infected with Ebola, you are not safe, even if you never touch them or their bodily fluids, and this is not what you are being told by the mainstream media. Essentially I am using the word “airborne” as a layman term (which kind of makes sense, since I am a layman in this field).

Now I’m not going to speculate as to whether these so called “journalist” and public health agencies who keep repeating the official line regarding the means of transmission are lying, or are just participating in some massive display of synchronized incompetence, but what I will say, is that this shoddy reporting is most likely getting people killed right now, and may in fact put all of humanity in danger.

How so?

By convincing people that the virus cannot travel through air, important precautions that could reduce the spread of the virus are not being taken. For example the other passengers on the plane that traveled to Lagos, Nigeria were not quarantined.

To put this into context, Ebola kills between 50% and 90% of its victims, so the stakes are very, very high here.

NOTE: We have reported on the fact that Ebola can spread through the air in three separate articles since March of 2014, herehere and here, however the corporate media has continued to misrepresent the vectors of transmission.

This particular strain of Ebola is not Ebola Zaire. This is a new strain, and it may in fact be more dangerous than the Zaire variety. Not because of any difference in the symptoms (the symptoms are identical), but because this new virus seems to be harder to contain. Whether this is due to some characteristic of the virus itself or merely dumb luck is uncertain at this time, but the rate at which this outbreak has extended its range is unprecedented.

According to the CDC this virus is genetically 97% similar to the Zaire strain. However if you are interested in this virus’ phylogenetic relationship (genetic lineage) to the Zaire strain you should look read “Phylogenetic Analysis of Guinea 2014 EBOV Ebolavirus Outbreak” on plos.org.

Another study by the New England Journal of medicine (this was the one referenced by the CDC) specifically names the parts of the genetic code which differ:

The three sequences, each 18,959 nucleotides in length, were identical with the exception of a few polymorphisms at positions 2124 (G→A, synonymous), 2185 (A→G, NP552 glycine→glutamic acid), 2931 (A→G, synonymous), 4340 (C→T, synonymous), 6909 (A→T, sGP291 arginine→tryptophan), and 9923 (T→C, synonymous).

Note that there doesn’t yet seem to be a consensus as to what this new strain is called. One study referred to it as “Guinean EBOV”, another as “Guinea 2014 EBOV Ebolavirus” and others are still referring to it as Zaire. Given that we can specifically name the points where the virus has mutated, using the old name is misleading.

Right now the question on everyone’s minds is whether this virus will spread outside of Africa. Considering the fact that Ebola has a three week incubation period, can travel through the air, and has already hitchhiked onto an international flight, this is a very real possibility. There are some that are downplaying the probability of this outcome, and to be honest, I hope that they are right, but the simple fact of the matter is that these people are basing their assessment on the faulty premise that Ebola is not an airborne virus.

Now the first thing you might be feeling when looking at this situation is a sense of fear and helplessness, and while that’s a perfectly normal reaction it’s really not helpful. Instead we should be thinking in terms of practical steps we can take to influence the outcome.

One thing we can all do is to start confronting journalists and public officials who keep making false statements regarding the way Ebola spreads. Use the links to the original study, the BBC report from 2012 and this video to put them in their place.

We also need to confront the fact that there isn’t a full out, coordinated, international effort to contain this. This is being treated like a sideshow but it has the very real potential to become a main event.

The doctors on the ground in West Africa don’t have enough staff or resources to deal with this situation. It is absolutely inexcusable for the U.S. and the E.U. to be investing billions of tax payer dollars into their little power games in Ukraineand Syria (which are both in the process of escalating right now by the way) while Ebola is getting a foothold in Africa. Every available resource should be shifted to West Africa in order to contain and extinguish this epidemic right now.

This is serious. Call them, write them, heckle them in the streets if you have to, but don’t allow them to ignore this issue.Make it impossible for them to pretend later that they didn’t know.

Now whether or not official policy towards the Ebola crisis changes there are some precautions that you should take right now for yourself and your family.

1. Know where you would go if you needed to leave your home on short notice. If Ebola escapes Africa the last place you want to be is in a densely populated metropolitan area. It may be that the most practical destination for your family would be a rural area near your current home, but if you already have concerns about the government you are living under, and how they may handle a crisis like this, then you might want to start looking at alternatives. Finding an alternative location that suits your family’s needs is something that requires a lot of time and research, so don’t put this off. The primary characteristics you should be examining in an alternative destination are geography , political environment, climate, population density and visa terms and requirements. Ideally you would want to end up somewhere that is geographically isolated to some degree.

2. If you don’t have passports for yourself and each of your dependents, get them now. This is not to say that you should leave your country, but you should have the means to do so. In countries where the Ebola outbreak is underway it is getting harder and harder to exit. Borders are being closed down. Flights are being cut off. This didn’t happen right away, but you definitely don’t want to be waiting for your passport to show up if Ebola arrives in your city.

3. Know what you would carry with you if you had to leave on short notice. Have those items ready, and have the luggage to carry them. It would be wise to consider buying a pack of surgical masks as part of this.

Now if you think about it, these preparations are wise steps to take regardless of whether the Ebola situation deteriorates or not. Knowing where you would go in an emergency, and having the means to get there on short notice is important for a wide variety of situations. The civilian population of Iraq, Syria, east Ukraine, and Gaza can attest to that.

Whatever you do don’t let fear take control of your mind. Take the steps you can take now, monitor the situation calmly, and be prepared to adapt if necessary.

UPDATE: A number of people have requested that I comment on the fact that the Americans infected by Ebola are right now being flown into the U.S. My personal opinion is that this particular move will not lead to the virus getting out. This event is going to be highly scrutinized, and the isolation security should be at max. The real danger isn’t in these highly controlled transfers and quarantines, but rather in the ongoing flow of air travel from these regions. Thirty five countries are merely one flight away from an Ebola zone right now.

Why is this random air travel more dangerous?

Because if it gets in when people aren’t looking, it can spread before containment measures are put into place.

P.S. If you want to learn more about Ebola I highly recommend that you read “The Hot Zone” by Richard Preston.

PESTICIDE LINKED TO THREE GENERATIONS OF DISEASE: METHOXYCHLOR CAUSES EPIGENETIC CHANGES

Washington state University researchers say ancestral exposures to the pesticide methoxychlor may lead to adult onset kidney disease, ovarian disease and obesity in future generations. What your great-grandmother was exposed to during pregnancy, like the pesticide methoxychlor, may promote a dramatic increase in your susceptibility to develop disease, and you will pass this on to your grandchildren in the absence of any continued exposures,” says Michael Skinner, WSU professor and founder of its Center for Reproductive Biology.

PESTICIDE LINKED TO THREE GENERATIONS OF DISEASE: METHOXYCHLOR CAUSES EPIGENETIC CHANGES

He and his colleagues document their findings in a paper published online in PLOS ONE.

DDT replacement banned in 2003

Methoxychlor — also known as Chemform, Methoxo, Metox or Moxie — was introduced in 1948 and widely used during the 1970s as a safer replacement for DDT. It was used on crops, ornamental plants, livestock and pets. It is still used in many countries around the world.

It was banned in the U.S. in 2003 due to its toxicity and ability to disrupt endocrine systems. Methoxychlor can behave like the hormone estrogen and profoundly affects the reproductive system.

Supports earlier epigenetic findings

When Skinner and his colleagues exposed gestating rats to methoxychlor at a range typical of high environmental exposures, they saw increases in the incidence of kidney disease, ovary disease and obesity in offspring spanning three generations. The incidence of multiple diseases increased in the third generation or “great-grandchildren.”

The researchers say the pesticide may be affecting how genes are turned on and off in the progeny of an exposed animal, even though its DNA and gene sequences remain unchanged.

This is called transgenerational epigenetic inheritance. In recent years, the Skinner lab has documented epigenetic effects from a host of environmental toxicants, including DDT, plastics, pesticides, fungicides, dioxins, hydrocarbons and the plasticizer bisphenol-A or BPA. The newest findings support those observations.

Implications for obesity, fertility, disease

The work is also the first to show that a majority of transgenerational disease traits can be transmitted primarily through the female line.

Additionally, the study identified mutations in the sperm epigenome of great-grandchild male rats. The epigenome functions like a set of switches for regulating gene expression and can be altered by environmental conditions.

The epigenetic changes observed were specific to methoxychlor exposure and may prove to be valuable biomarkers for future research on transgenerational disease.

For people exposed to the pesticide, Skinner says his findings have implications such as reduced fertility, increased adult onset disease and the potential to pass on those conditions to subsequent generations.

He suggests that ancestral exposures to methoxychlor over the past 50 years in North America may play a part in today’s increasing rates of obesity and disease. The study was funded by the National Institutes of Health.

No Sex Required: Body Cells Transfer Genetic Info Directly Into Sperm Cells, Amazing Study Finds

A revolutionary new study reveals that the core tenet of classical genetics is patently false, and by implication: what we do in this life — our diet, our mindset, our chemical exposures — can directly impact the DNA and health of future generations.

A paradigm shifting new study titled, “Soma-to-Germline Transmission of RNA in Mice Xenografted with Human Tumour Cells: Possible Transport by Exosomes,” promises to overturn several core tenets of classical genetics, including collapsing the timescale necessary for the transfer of genetic information through the germline of a species (e.g. sperm) from hundreds of thousands of years to what amounts to ‘real time’ changes in biological systems.

In classical genetics, Mendelian laws specify that the inheritance of traits passed from one generation to the next can only occur through sexual reproduction as information is passed down through the chromosomes of a species’ germline cells (egg and sperm), and never through somatic (bodily) cells.  Genetic change, according to this deeply entrenched view, can take hundreds, thousands and even millions of generations to manifest.

The new study, however, has uncovered a novel mechanism through which somatic-to-germline transmission of genetic information is made possible.  Mice grafted with human melanoma tumor cells genetically manipulated to express genes for a fluorescent tracer enzyme (EGFP-encoding plasmid) were found to release information-containing molecules containing the EGFP tracer into the animals’ blood; since EGFP is a non-human and non-murine expressed tracer, there was little doubt that the observed phenomenon was real. These EGFP trackable molecules included exosomes (small nanoparticles produced by all eukaryotic cells (including plants and animals), which contain RNA and DNA molecules), which were verified to deliver RNAs to mature sperm cells (spermatozoa) and remain stored there.  The authors of the study pointed out that RNA of this kind has been found in mouse models to behave as a “transgenerational determinant of inheritable epigenetic variations and that spermatozoal RNA can carry and deliver information that cause phenotypic variations in the progeny.”

The researchers concluded that their study’s findings strongly suggest, “exosomes are the carriers of a flow of information from somatic cells to gametes,” and that their “results indicate that somatic RNA is transferred to sperm cells, which can therefore act as the final recipients of somatic cell-derived information.”

Cancer Industry Exposed as Fraud “The Science is False”

Major studies within cancer research have been proven to be false which suggests that the mainstream treatments we use are based on fraudulent findings and false science.

Recent news has shown that the majority of studies geared towards cancer research are inaccurate and likely fraudulent by nature. Findings published in the journal Nature show that 88% of major studies on cancer that have been published in reputable journals over the years can not be reproduced to show their accuracy. This means that the research findings published are not based on accurate results.

Author of the review and former head of cancer research at Amgen C. Glenn Begley was unable to replicate the results of 47 of the 53 studies he examined. This suggests that researchers are fabricating their findings simply to create the illusion of positive findings instead of publishing their actual results. This ensures the continuation of their steady stream of funding and grants.

Begley  stated: “These are the studies the pharmaceutical industry relies on to identify new targets for drug development, but if you’re going to place a $1 million or $2 million or $5 million bet on an observation, you need to be sure it’s true. As we tried to reproduce these papers we became convinced you can’t take anything at face value.”

Although Begley was unable to publish the names of those who published the false findings, this recent development shows that the vast majority or modern cancer treatment approaches are invalid given they have been built off of a poor base.

The University of Michigan’s Comprehensive Cancer Center published an analysis in 2009, that revealed popular cancer studies to be false. Unsurprisingly the primary cause of fabricated results was determined to be conflicts of interest that created results that work out best for drug companies rather than for the people.

Personally I have always felt the cancer industry to be transparent when it came to their research and treatments. In many ways it is common sense. If someone said to you “This body is sick and we need to some how make it better.” Would you think to completely poison and destroy every healthy cell in it in order to make it better? While it can show results in minimal cases, it isn’t the most ideal approach. We are using highly carcinogenic treatments to cure a disease who’s development is sped up through carcinogens.

The very fact that incredible amounts of money have been funnelled into cancer research by people over the years and yet no cure has been found should be a tell tale sign things aren’t what they seem. This reveals in itself that the money is not going where we might think it is and there is not a complete effort to find a cure. While many people are aware of this and more are continuing to learn about it, the vast majority of us continue to believe in what we are told from government, education and the media about their findings that have been proven false time and time again.

FEMA Accelerates Preparations For Pandemic

Federal agency seeks 40-yard dumpsters for bio-medical waste disposal during emergency
210114fema

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is looking for contractors to supply 40-yard size dumpsters along with experts who can dispose of contaminated bio-medical waste during a national emergency.

Image: FEMA Meeting (Wikimedia Commons).

The Request for Information (RFI) appears on the FedBizOpps website and asks for, “feedback from waste removal industry vendors that can potentially provide either dumpster service and/or bio-medical waste collection and removal services during emergency response events within the Continental United States (CONUS) area of responsibility.”

FEMA is intending to have one or more contractors provide them with the service as part of an indefinite contract that will initially have a base length of one year with four additional 12 month options.

The RFI states that contractors “must pick up regulated (infectious) waste daily” and an attached question page asks contractors if they can supply dumpsters of different sizes and how quickly they can be supplied.

FEMA will undoubtedly claim that this is merely part of routine preparations for national health emergencies which may or may not happen, although that hasn’t stopped some from expressing concerns that the federal agency is gearing up for a major pandemic such as the H7N9 bird flu virus to hit the United States.

Watching too much television can change the structure of a child’s brain in a damaging way, according to a new study.

Researchers found that the more time a child spent viewing TV, the more profound the brain alterations appeared to be.

The Japanese study looked at 276 children aged between five and 18, who watched between zero and four hours TV per day, with the average being about two hours

Too much TV can change the structure of a child’s brain in a way which can lead to lower verbal intelligence

MRI brain scans showed children who spent the most hours in front of the box had greater amounts of grey matter in regions around the frontopolar cortex – the area at the front of the frontal lobe.

But this increased volume was a negative thing as it was linked with lower verbal intelligence, said the authors, from Tohoku University in the city of Sendai.

They suggested grey matter could be compared to body weight and said these brain areas need to be pruned during childhood in order to operate efficiently.

Organovo generate 3D printed liver which can survive for 40 days – are lab grown cyborg humans now possible

Organovo generate 3D printed liver which can survive for 40 daysA San Diego start-up company called Organovo has managed to use 3D printing to generate a liver that lasts for 40 days.

The company is lighting the way for 3D printed organs and edible meat of the future after developing a slice of functioning liver by printing layers of liver cells.

As the liver is an organ that naturally regenerates itself, it makes it perfect for this project and Organovo’s lastest printed liver was fully functioning for 40 days, which was a 700 per cent increase on the company’s previous effort last April that lasted five days.

The 3D printed liver filters out toxins and drugs to keep in nutrients, but the company has yet to master the ability to integrate blood vessels using 3D printing, hence why this example dies after 40 days as these are what keeps a normal liver alive and healthy.

Organovo’s 3D printed liver can be made using a patients own stem cells, meaning it wouldn’t get rejected upon implant.

The company is hoping to deliver slices of liver in the 3D Human Liver Project next year, which aims to offer a means of testing drugs on human tissue without risking harming humans.

.

This amazing new technology raises the possibility that growing meat this way for human consumption is really possible. Soy-lent green just made one huge leap forward and in fact is already possible now, one wonders will this be the food of the future.

You may be able to  grow your own meat using a 3d printer from yours or a friends stem cells. realistically for this to take off it would have to be done on an industrial level. We know they are already trying to do. Are they already doing it but just getting us ready through predictive programming. If there is a lack of food on the planet will you eat lab or 3d grown meat.

Mankind is heading very soon for the largest revolution and innovations it has ever seen in such a short period of time. If they can grow a liver for 40 days is it possible to grow a whole human.

the report does not give us many details on how long it took to grow the liver but obviously it if they are using a 3d printer it didnt take long at all. Imagine a man who has human organs a human brain grown in a lab integrated into a robotic outer frame. Trans humanists biggest fear is that of AI taking over so they want to merge with it. What better way than with 3d printing.

A bio patch that can regrow bone

56730-SV41AFZ_BIOPATCH-copy

Researchers at the University of Iowa have created a bio patch to regenerate missing or damaged bone by putting DNA into a nano-sized particle that delivers bone-producing instructions directly into cells.

The bone-regeneration kit relies on a collagen platform seeded with particles containing the genes needed for producing bone. In experiments, the gene-encoding bio patch successfully regrew bone fully enough to cover skull wounds in test animals. It also stimulated new growth in human bone marrow stromal cells in lab experiments.

The study is novel in that the researchers directly delivered bone-producing instructions (using piece of DNA that encodes for a platelet-derived growth factor called PDGF-B) to existing bone cells in vivo, allowing those cells to produce the proteins that led to more bone production. Previous attempts had relied on repeated applications from the outside, which is costly, intensive, and harder to replicate consistently.

“We delivered the DNA to the cells, so that the cells produce the protein and that’s how the protein is generated to enhance bone regeneration,” explains Aliasger Salem, professor in the College of Pharmacy and a co-corresponding author on the paper, published in the journal Biomaterials. “If you deliver just the protein, you have keep delivering it with continuous injections to maintain the dose. With our method, you get local, sustained expression over a prolonged period of time without having to give continued doses of protein.”

The researchers believe the patch has several potential uses in dentistry. For instance, it could be used to rebuild bone in the gum area that serves as the concrete-like foundation for dental implants. That prospect would be a “life-changing experience” for patients who need implants and don’t have enough bone in the surrounding area, says Satheesh Elangovan, assistant professor in the UI’s College of Dentistry and a joint first author, as well as co-corresponding author, on the paper. It also can be used to repair birth defects where there’s missing bone around the head or face.

“We can make a scaffold in the actual shape and size of the defect site, and you’d get complete regeneration to match the shape of what should have been there,” Elangovan says.

Stanford neuroscientist: ‘We’re now able to eavesdrop on the brain in real life’

Reuters / Denis Balibouse / filesNeuroscientists at Stanford University have made a major breakthrough with regards to how the human brain engages in quantitative thought, and some say it’s opening the door for being able to someday eavesdrop on the mind’s inner-workings.

A team at Stanford’s School of Medicine had their findings published this week in the journal Nature Communications, and their eye-catching result is being considered a big step to understanding how the brain operates, specifically in terms of numbers.

After monitoring the brain waves of three seizure patients, the scientists determined that a particular part of the mind became active when the subjects were asked to solve mathematical equations, but also when quantitative terms — such as “more than” or “an extra little bit” — were spoken during routine discussions.

Bruce Goldman wrote about the study for the Stanford School of Medicine website and said the team of scientists “collected the first solid evidence that the pattern of brain activity seen in someone performing a mathematical exercise under experimentally controlled conditions is very similar to that observed when the person engages in quantitative thought in the course of daily life.”

According to the scientists who conducted the study, however, it could be the start of something much more.

We’re now able to eavesdrop on the brain in real life,” Dr. Josef Parvizi, the director of Stanford’s Human Intracranial Cognitive Electrophysiology Program and lead scientist behind the studio, said to Goldman.

To conduct the study, Parvizi and company monitored electrical activity in a region of the brain called the intraparietal sulcus which, according to earlier studies, has ties to numerosity, or the mathematical equivalent of literacy, as Goldman explained.

As expected, the Stanford scientists experienced a reaction occurring on that part of the brain when basic math was asked of the subjects. His team also compared those results with video recordings of the patients interacting with friends and family, and determined that just discussing quantitative concepts caused that part of the brain to become active.

You are able to see how neurons within the human brain are working in a real life setting,” Parvizi told Time Magazine.

The patient doesn’t need to talk to you. They can think about numbers and you can see that red mark (corresponding with activity in a particular brain region) go up,” he said to CNN.

As the team also learned, quantitative concepts cause similar reactions. When the subjects hear phrases such as “some more” and “many,” electrodes attached to the intraparietal sulcus alerted the doctors of activity. In one patient’s case, her intraparietal sulcus became active when she spoke over the phone about being given “some more Vicodin” and while discussing a “ten-to-fifteen minute seizure.”

Dr. Parvizi told Time that “[t]he only thing we can tell is that they were thinking about numbers,” and not specifics such as what integer in particular. As technology advances, though, new possibilities might someday emerge.

This is exciting, and a little scary,” Henry Greely, the chair of Stanford’s Center for Biomedical Ethics, said in a statement. “It demonstrates, first, that we can see when someone’s dealing with numbers and, second, that we may conceivably someday be able to manipulate the brain to affect how someone deals with numbers.”

As far as Dr. Parvizi is concerned, that’s still a long way coming.

We’re still in early days with this,” he told reporters. “If this is a baseball game, we’re not even in the first inning. We just got a ticket to enter the stadium.”

New Healing Mechanism Closes Wounds By Up to 50 Percent in 30 Seconds — And Leaves No Scar

Biologists have long known that embryos can heal without scarring. Now they’ve discovered how

One of the remarkable features of chicken embryos is that if they become damaged, the wound heals rapidly and leaves no scar. That’s an ability that doctors would dearly love to copy when it comes to adult humans. So there is significant interest in understanding how chicken embryos perform this trick. In recent years, biologists have found two important mechanisms that heal chicken embryos quickly and cleanly.

Today, Matthew Wyczalkowski at Washington University in St Louis and a couple of pals say they’ve found a third healing mechanism that closes embryonic wounds by as much as 50 percent in the first 30 seconds after the injury occurs.

The two known wound healing mechanisms have been studied for some years. In the first of these, the wound closes via a purse-string mechanism using the same mechanism responsible for muscle contraction. This relies on biological cables called actins that contract when pulled by biological motors called myosins.

In embryonic wound healing, a cable of actin forms around the edge of the wound which myosins then tighten. This closes the wound like a purse string.

The second known mechanism is a kind of zippering effect that kicks into action after the purse-string phase has closed the wound. It starts with the formation of tiny ribs of actin on each side of the wound which then link together like a zip, finally sealing the damage.

Both these mechanisms have been studied in detail but Wyczalkowski and co were intrigued by anecdotal evidence that embryonic wounds can shrink dramatically in the first few seconds after they occur.

That’s too quickly for either of the two known mechanisms which rely on the growth of actin fibres and myosin motors, something that takes time. Clearly, if these reports were true, some other mechanism had to be involved.

To find out, they created circular wounds in more than 50 Leghorn chicken embryos incubated for 21 days and then watched to see what happened.

To their surprise, these wounds shrank dramatically in the first 30 seconds after they occurred, some by up to 50 per cent in surface area. They used a fluorescent staining technique to show that actomyosin was again involved in this contraction.

But in this case, the staining showed the actomyosin at work in a thick ring some three or four cells deep around the perimeter of the wound. That’s in contrast to the purse string effect, which occurs in a thin cable that grows around the edge of the wound.

Wyczalkowski and co think that this contraction occurs inside individual cells, which in normal circumstances contain a kind of scaffolding structure made of actomyosin. They suggest that wound formation releases calcium ions into the nearby environment and this immediately triggers the contraction of any actomyosin in the vicinity.

When the actomyosin in cell scaffolding shrinks, it reduces the volume of the cell. And when this happens around the damage, it causes the wound to shrink too.

Wyczalkowski and co tested their idea in a computer model of wound healing which suggested that their new mechanism was indeed viable.

That’s an interesting discovery. It means that wound healing in chicken embryos is a three-stage process. In the first stage, the wound shrinks by up to 50 per cent in the first 30 seconds. It then undergoes a period of slower contraction as the purse-string effect kicks in. In the final stage, the wound zippers up. The result is a perfect scar-free repair.

That’s in stark contrast to wound healing in adults which involves the action of special cells called fibroblasts that synthesise collagen to fill in any gaps. Hence the formation of scars.

Of course, there are good reasons why adult wound healing occurs in a different way. Not least of these is that wounds in adults are exposed to germs and dirt whereas chicken embryos grow in their own clean room.

However, a better understanding of how wounds can heal without scarring could clearly be useful. Just don’t plan on any scar-free cosmetic surgery just yet.

how frequencies effect your brain and how to disrupt them –

Lucifer the god of this world has rules for his followers to adhere to, one of those is they must inform the public what is going to happen to them before it is implemented and carried out. Others though believe the God of heaven who created lucifer has told lucifer to follow certain rules otherwise any plans his followers concocted would not be implemented. This is a strange theory but in light of the many leaks and people whistleblowing certain information who remain free and have not been assassinated or imprisoned one must come to realise there are many different layers to what is happening in this world that remain hidden to almost everyone except for a few who are privy to the higher spiritual elements present on this earth. this video is partly from a BBC documentary on how certain frequencies can disrupt the brain, further in the report is actual instances where they have used this technology on reporters live on the news and in television shows.Do these people have chips in their brians or are the frequencies beamed thorugh some kind of device. Or are the chemicals from pollution and mainly chemtrail spraying which enter into the body to blame, we let you decide.

why did the Illuminate allow this technology to be exposed in this way.

Cosmic Informed Consent is required, thus the most important major secrets must be intentionally leaked in disguise.

This preservation of human free will requires disclosure of what lucifer plans to do in advance so that humans have fair warning and can either consent or remove consent. As this narrative goes, Lucifer can only advance his programs to completely transform the earth into a worldwide luciferian Globalist NWO one government super fascist system if the majority of humans provide consent and cooperate.

Experts know that societal tipping points occur when a majority of the people withdraws consent from their government. That is why mind control was considered and essential component in gaining and maintaining rule in Bolshevik Russia, Nazi Germany, Maoist China, North Korea and Cambodia under Pol Pot, all of which were pre-tests for the final takedown and transformation of the world.  And all of these luciferian systems were predicated on removing any concept of God Almighty and substituting the state as god, in order to justify totalitarian control by the state and its worship as a super-parent figure by the masses, most of which were fully conned. excerpt fromhttp://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/07/14/secret-space-war-iv-terra-forming/

AMAZING USES FOR HEMP- Henry Ford’s Hemp Plastic Car is 10X Stronger

url-2When we think of cars we think of gasoline, steel, pollution, etc. Well, maybe you don’t, but that’s what comes to mind for me. Even though we have some innovative and visually pleasing cars on the road today, it is difficult to ignore the sheer environmental impact that modern cars create. What if cars didn’t have to be the way they are today? If you are a researcher of any kind of alternative information, you already know this to be true -especially given that the technology already exists today to make cars smarter, safer and more eco-friendly (no fossil fuels necessary.) But did you know that Henry Ford spent more than a decade researching and building his Model-T car which was not only constructed from hemp but was also designed to run off hemp bio-fuel? Whatever happened to this idea?According to Popular Mechanics, Henry Ford’s first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the CAR ITSELF WAS CONSTRUCTED FROM HEMP! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, ‘grown from the soil,’ had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel. To think that even one of the founders of a major car manufacturer was trying to give the world a vehicle that was safe, strong and clean for the environment, yet his invention was so suppressed that it is somewhat disheartening. How did we go from such an obvious and intelligent discovery, to using gasoline, steel and other non-harmonious materials? It’s important to remember, not only do we need to look at the pollution factor of a material while in use, but also in the manufacturing and creation of it from raw materials. Looking at hemp, it complies with every eco-standard that exists today; in fact, it blows them out of the water. The suppression of this technology is largely due to the fact that hemp was outlawed in the US in 1937 due to the potential damaging effect it would have on many powerful industries at the time. I highly recommend you check out the the full story on how hemp became illegal to get a better understanding.

Here are a couple of videos showing the sheer strength of Ford’s hemp vehicle as well as the possibility of hemp based vehicles and fuels. Hemp has a bright future. The prohibition of it certainly won’t last forever given the amount of awareness being raised around the subject.

New Thermometers Stick Like Temporary Tattoo can monitor not only their health but also their mental state.

By Charles Choi,

Using new wearable electronics as light and thin as temporary tattoos, scientists can now take a person’s temperature and monitor not only their health but also their mental state.

Taking a person’s temperature can reveal more than a fever. For instance, analyzing tiny, regular variations in body temperature can reveal how blood vessels are constricting and dilating, which is linked to cardiovascular health. Monitoring changes in temperature can even shed light on a person’s mental state.

The best existing technologies for measuring skin temperature include simple, paste-on sensors and sophisticated infrared cameras. Although paste-on sensors are cheap and help doctors monitor patients as they move freely, these devices cannot monitor changes in great detail, across the skin. Moreover, they irritate the skin, changing its naturalresponses. While infrared cameras enable high-precision temperature measurements in high detail across the skin, they are expensive, and require patients to keep still.

Now materials scientist John Rogers at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his colleagues have developed wearable, flexible thermometers only 50 microns wide, or about half the width of the average human hair. [Image of the wearable thermometer]

“A very low cost, simple device that is capable of integration onto the skin like a kid’s temporary tattoo can offer precision in thermal measurement on the skin that approaches that of a $250,000 infrared camera,” Rogers told LiveScience.

The sensors are made of either thin wavy gold wires, or silicon membranes mounted on an ultra-thin rubbery sheet that is perforated tohelp the skin breathe and behave naturally. They can stick onto human skin and measure temperatures down to thousandths of a degree. The prototypes could gather clinically useful data such as blood flow and how well the skin was hydrated with extremely high sensitivity.

The sensors could also behave as heaters if desired, Rogers said. Precisely controlled levels of heating of the skin could have therapeutic use — for instance, it could assist delivery of drugs into the blood, or help the body absorb nutrients critical to healing a wound rapidly, and with a lower risk of infection.

Currently, the scientists read data off these sensors by placing an electrode against the devices. In the future, the researchers hope todevelop thermometers that can wirelessly broadcast their findings.

The scientists detailed their findings online Sept. 15 in the journal Nature Materials.

Quantum mechanics allows for some very strange things, like the teleportation of information and computers that can break even the toughest codes.

Recently, scientists at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology(ETH) in Zurich made a step toward building a workingquantum computer by teleporting bits of information across acomputer chip. The results of the study were detailed Aug. 15 in the journal Nature.

Creating such a circuit is an important milestone, said Benjamin Schumacher, a professor of physics at Kenyon College in Ohio. “Everybody really knows if you are ever going to make a real quantum computer, it must be solid state,” said Schumacher, who was not involved in the new research. “Solid state” refers to computers built with single-piece transistors — with no moving parts and with components that are self-contained. Almost every electronic device is built with solid-state electronics. [Wacky Physics: The Coolest Quantum Particles Explained]

Bill Munro, a research scientist at Japanese phone giant NTT, who has done extensive research into quantum computing, said the ETH team’s work is a “very nice experiment,” adding, “it really shows prototyping the technology” involved in making a quantum computer.

Previous teleportation experiments have used lasers to transport quantum information between photons. But that isn’t as practical for building real computers. Solid-state circuits, on the other hand, are a well-known field and computer chip manufacturers have decades of experience in miniaturizing them, Schumacher said.

In new experiment, the scientists took advantage of a property ofquantum physics called entanglement to teleport the quantum bits, called qubits. When two particles interact, they form a connection — they are entangled — so that an action performed on one affects the other, even when they’re separated by great distances. In addition, no matter how far apart they are, if you know the state of one particle, you instantly know the state of the other.

Teleporting qubits

To set up the teleportation, the scientists put 3 micron-size electronic circuits (where 1 micron is one-millionth of a meter) on a tiny computer chip measuring 0.3 by 0.3 inches (7 by 7 millimeters). Two of the circuits were the senders, while the other served as the receiver. The scientists cooled the chip to near absolute zero and turned on a current in the circuits.

At that temperature, the electrons in the circuits, which are the qubits, started behaving according to quantum mechanical rules (in this case, becoming entangled.

The ETH team encoded information in the form of spin states, into the sending circuits’ qubits, and measured them. At the same time, the researchers measured the state of the qubits in the receiver. The sending and receiving qubits’ states were correlated — the information had been teleported.

The teleportation wasn’t the only achievement. Usually, in teleportation experiments, the information transmission isn’t reliable, meaning the experiment can’t be reliably repeated. “Especially for large objects, the success rate is often small,” said study co-author Arkady Fedorov from the University of Queensland in Australia. “You run the experiment millions of times and it works.” In this experiment, the teleportation worked almost every time.

The ETH group also managed to make a qubit out of billions of electrons, nearly a quarter of a millimeter across, which is large by teleportation standards. “It’s not anymore like a photon that you cannot see or some atom in a trap,” Fedorov said.

Since the qubit doesn’t go through the intervening space, some might ask if this is a way to communicate faster than light. It isn’t, Schumacher noted. That’s because even though two entangled particles share correlated states, it’s impossible to know the states beforehand. There’s a 50-50 chance a particle will be in state A or B. [10 Weird Implications of Traveling Faster than Light]

Quantum computers?

For quantum computers, though, instantaneous transmission isn’t critical. Rather, the ability of quantum bits to be in two states at once is key to the reality of these computers.

In an ordinary, or classical, computer, the bits — the 1s and 0s that make up the language of computer code — have a definite state. They are either 1 or 0. But qubits can be in both states at the same time. They are in a state called superposition. In quantum mechanics, a physical system has no definite state until it is observed — that is, until it leaves some trace in the surrounding environment.

This phenomenon is very different from the way people ordinarily experience things, but it is outlined in the famous Schrodinger’s cat thought experiment. Picture a cat in a box with a vial of poison gas that opens when a tiny piece of radioactive metal emits an alpha particle as it decays. Emitting an alpha particle is a quantum-mechanical process, which means that whether it happens in any given stretch of time is basically random. In that sense, when you open the box, the cat has a 50-50 probability of being alive or dead.

In classical mechanics, the physics would dictate that the cat was alive or dead before we open the box; we just can’t see it. But in quantum mechanics, the cat is in both states — just as the qubits in the teleportation experiment are in both states before they are observed.

That’s another aspect of the work that makes it unique, Schumacher said. For the qubits to remain in their dual state, they can’t interact with the environment in any way. A computer’s components, though, have to interact with each other to be useful. “You have two contradictory requirements,” he said. “The qubits must interact with each other and the parts have to be isolated from the outside world.”

Raymond LaFlamme, executive director of the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, said the experiment is a big step because it implies not just teleporting qubits, but the logical operations, such as addition or subtraction. “You can change the transformation that you do,” he said, “You can transform the bit … and then flip the bit from 0 to 1.”

Fedorov said that future experiments would likely involve getting the teleportation to work in more than one chip, using more qubits.
