Doctors prescribe hydrocodone for pain. They recommend ranitidine for acid reflux, a diuretic called hydrochlorothiazide for congestive heart failure.

But you don’t need a prescription to get these drugs in tiny doses. They’re found already in our nation’s water supply—and, according to an upcoming national study, the largest done so far, in higher amounts than drug companies anticipated.

We know how the drugs get there: Our bodies release them when we urinate or flush old drugs down the toilet. And it’s well known by now that pharmaceuticals are affecting fish, frogs and lobsters­—small amounts of estrogen cause male fish to develop eggs, for instance. But the impact on human health is unclear. Although research on pharmaceuticals in the water supply began almost a decade ago, no one seems to know which compounds need to be removed or how to remove them from the water safely. And no one seems to know which government agency should step forward and take action.

“All of these drugs out there on the market are going to be discharged into the environment and we don’t know what the effects are, because there’s no requirement to do an assessment on the front end,” said Nick Schroeck, executive director of the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center in Detroit.

“We’re not trying to scare anyone, but we need to know what these chemical compounds will do to the environment and what are the long-term effects for humans. No one seems to know.”

The new study, which will be released in January in the journal Environmental Pollution, was obtained by The New Republic. Conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency, it is the largest study of water coming out of wastewater treatment plants.

It looked at samples from 50 large-size wastewater treatment plants nationwide and tested for 56 drugs including oxycodone, high-blood pressure medications, and over-the-counter drugs like Tylenol and ibuprofen. More than half the samples tested positive for at least 25 of the drugs monitored, the study said. High blood pressure medications appeared in the highest concentrations and most frequently.

“We were surprised to find that many drugs occurring across all the wastewater plants,” said Mitchell Kostich, the EPA research biologist who led the study. “We were also surprised to see so many drugs of a particular class—the high blood pressure medications—appear at those levels across the board.”

The chemical names of the main substances used in wate fluoridation practices are hydrofluorocilicic acid, hexafluorisilisic acid and sodium silicofluroride.

It is illegal to dump the hazardous fluoride waste products hydrofluorocilicic acid, hexafluorisilisic acid and sodium silicofluroride into water streams, rivers or environment. It is considered an act of terrorism to do so. Yet it is legal to do and accepted as a safe practice when we add it to our water supply under the guise that it is helping with dental hygiene. This theory of helping with dental hygiene is built off of assumptions and not science. Currently, there is no evidence to suggest water fluoridation helps prevent tooth decay.

Roughly 99% of the water pumped through municipalities is not consumed through the mouth. Most is used for showering, watering crops and washing clothes. Given these facts, most of it ends up in streams, rivers and in oceans, where it is destroying and contaminating our environment. Due to the fact most of this does not touch our teeth but instead goed into the environment suggests water fluoridation is a practice put in place to legally dump this hazardous waste product. What is consumed by humans does nothing more than harm our bodies.

Fluoride is an unapproved drug being used in a highly illegal mass medication scheme. Fluoride is said to be voluntary by municipalities but the people never get to vote. The drug has not been approved by any drug agency and no one has been assessed for prescriptions.

What Can We Do?

Stop drinking fluoridated water. Use a filtration system in your home that filters out fluoride. Most filters can also remove chlorine which is another harmful chemical. Brita water filters do not remove fluoride, something like a reverse osmosis system will work best.

Educate your doctors and dentists about where fluoride really comes from. The majority of the time those professionals are not trying to hurt you they just don’t know the truth behind the substance. They are limited to what their education taught them which is funded by the companies who are doing this.

Spread this information with others and your city politicians to put an end to water fluoridation. Be neutral and open as you talk about this information with them so they will take you seriously. Too often anger related to the issue makes it seem like it’s not something worth looking into.

What Type of Water Do You Drink?

Fresh Spring Water There is a resource called www.findaspring.com, which allows you to locate natural springs close to where you live if you want to have a try at collecting your own spring water. Of course, this will not be an option for everyone, and there is some time and effort associated with collecting spring water.

Well Water If you don’t already have one, you could construct a water well on your property, given that there is an adequate ground water source and where overly dry climate conditions won’t result in water shortages. Unfortunately, most wells can be easily contaminated, and the water may need to be treated or softened.

Tap Water Supplied through the municipal water system, tap water is the most common option for drinking water for most people, especially those living in cities and large metropolitan areas. Access to tap water is easy and quick, yet, concerns about fluoridation are becoming more prevalent. Additionally, tap water is treated with chlorine, which is one of the main reasons many people want to filter tap water before they ingest it or use it on the body.

Water Filtration Options for Your Home

There are many options in terms of home water filtration, and, ideally, you want a system that uses a variety of methods to remove organic and inorganic contaminants, as well as sediment and metals. Home water filtration options consist of a few categories:

Pitcher/Carafe Filter

These types of filters are some of the least expensive, at least at the onset, because they are only about $10-$40 for the pitcher. Refill cartridges cost about $5-$15, and these need to be replaced about every 30-40 gallons. So although the initial cost is low, the on-going cost of about 12-20 cents per gallon can make these filters the most costly long term.

Pitcher-style filters are usually designed with the primary purpose of improving the taste and odor of your tap water by reducing chemicals such as chlorine. They are least effective in removing harmful contaminants when compared to other options. Importantly, these filters often don’t remove potentially carcinogenic organisms, such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Trihalomethanes (THM) chemicals.

Reverse Osmosis Filter 

RO filters are effective in removing contaminants in your water, including fluoride, lead, mercury, cysts, chlorine and more, yet they also remove natural minerals. As mentioned in the section on Distilled Water above, this may create a mineral imbalance in the body. So if you choose this type of system, you will need to add essential minerals back into your water after it’s filtered. Some RO water filtration systems automatically address this issue.

Granular Carbon and Carbon Block Filters

Water filtration using carbon is most common for counter-top and under-the-counter filters. The EPA considers carbon filters to be the best available technology for the removal of organic chemicals such as herbicides and industrial chemicals such as chlorine. These filters remove contaminants through adsorption, where the contaminants bond to the surface of the filter media.

The difference between the granular carbon filter and the carbon block filter is that the latter uses a carbon medium in a solid form, versus granular carbon filters that use loose carbon material. A downside of the granular carbon filters is that water can create pathways (or channels) in the loose material, and hence some water may escape filtering. Carbon block filters address the problem of channeling and use sub-micron filter cartridges, which further aides as a physical barrier for certain dangerous organisms.

Ion Exchange Filter 

These types of filters work by removing dissolved salts in the water by exchanging natural-forming ions in the water with their own ions. Ion exchange filters are usually combined with carbon adsorption or RO filtration, because on their own they do not effectively remove organics and microorganisms.

Distillation Filter 

A distillation filter, when combined with carbon adsorption, is one of the most effective methods for obtaining 99.9% contaminate-free water. The distillation process boils the water to create steam, which then cools and condenses to form mineral-free water. Similar to the RO filtration method, distillation removes all healthy minerals as well as harmful contaminants.

Are You Ready to Start Drinking Cleaner Water?

If you choose to purchase a water filter for you home, not only will you be choosing which technology to use, but you will also have options on where the water filter should reside. There are options for under-the-sink and counter-top or faucet top, which sometimes require more involved installation, versus water cooler style filters, which can be much easier to set-up and more portable but take up more space. Other options, especially great for traveling and camping, or for storing as part of your emergency kit, include small water filtration bottles, microfilters, and bottle-top filters. The effectiveness in removing chemicals and pollutants, as well as the life-time of filter cartridges, will vary depending on the brand of filter you purchase. Don’t be turned away from an expensive filter but consider their lifetime and effectiveness before making your decision.

Bombshell: Syria’s ‘chemical weapons’ turn out to be sodium fluoride used in the U.S. water supply and sold at Wal-Mart

The Government was accused of “breathtaking laxity” in its arms controls last night after it emerged that officials authorised the export to Syria of two chemicals capable of being used to make a nerve agent such as sarin a year ago.

What, exactly, are those two dangerous chemicals that need to be controlled via “arms control” regulations? You won’t believe me when I tell you. They are:

• sodium fluoride
• potassium fluoride

You can see this yourself in the screen capture of The Independent breaking news story. Note the headline and the subhead. The headline describes “nerve gas chemicals” and the subhead explains them as “sodium fluoride” and “potassium fluoride.”

U.S. water fluoridation chemical is Syria’s “chemical weapon”

If these chemical names sound familiar, that’s because sodium fluoride is the same toxic chemical that’s routinely dumped into municipal water supplies all across the USA under the guise of “water fluoridation.”

In fact, the forced feeding of sodium fluoride to the U.S. population is called a “public health” victory by the CDC, FDA and dentists everywhere. Yet this same chemical, when sold to Syria, is openly and repeatedly referred to as a “chemical weapon.” This is true across the BBC, the Guardian, Daily Record and Sunday Mail, France24.com and literally thousands of other news websites.

According to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, any government “regime” that uses chemical weapons against its own people should be bombed / invaded / overthrown by a coalition of other United Nations members. By his own definition, then, the United States of America should now be invaded by the UN because the government uses a deadly chemical weapon — sodium fluoride — on its own people.

By implication, then, John Kerry is now calling for the UN to bomb the USA. As the international media now confirms, sodium fluoride is a chemical weapon, and this chemical weapon is used against the American people every single day in the water supply, a favorite attack vector for terrorists.

“Evidence” of chemical weapons nothing more than hair samples of people who drank sodium fluoride

As you might have guessed, Secretary of State John Kerry is running around “pulling a George Bush” by claiming Syria has used weapons of mass destruction on its own population. Here’s a sample of his claims:

“In the last 24 hours, we have learned through samples that were provided to the United States that have now been tested from first responders in east Damascus and hair samples and blood samples have tested positive for signatures of sarin.” Kerry said this on NBC’s Meet The Press.

But what, exactly, is he saying? That hair samples have tested positive for “signatures” of sarin, not sarin itself. What is a “signature” of sarin? The fluorine element, which is of course the basis for sodium fluoride.

In other words, this “evidence” of chemical weapons in Syria may be nothing more than a collection of hair samples taken from people who drank fluoride. As this study shows on SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, hair analysis is a commonly-used practice for assessing exposure to fluoride. It concludes, “hair may be regarded as biomaterial of high informative potential in evaluating prolonged exposure to fluorides…”

Typically, this analysis is conducted with ICP-MS instrumentation, using a plasma torch that disintegrates all organic molecules, leaving only the resulting elements (fluorine). Tests done on Syrian citizens using ICP-MS would not be able to distinguish between sodium fluoride and sarin exposure in terms of the detection of elemental fluorine.

Read that again, because it’s crucial to understanding the hoax being perpetrated by the White House: Tests on hair or other tissues, if done using ICP-MS (the most common elemental analysis technology used today), would not be able to distinguish between sodium fluoride and sarin.
